On May 6, 2019, the first meeting of the first general meeting of the trade union of Jiangxi Construction Engineering City Construction Co., Ltd. was solemnly held in the large conference room on the second floor. Xu Chapi, vice chairman of the trade union of the group, Xu Jingang, secretary of the party branch, chairman and general manager of the company, and Ding Yue, chief financial officer, attended the meeting. According to the agenda of the meeting, the "election method for the first meeting of the first general meeting of the trade union of Jiangxi Construction Engineering City Construction Co., Ltd." and the "list of scrutineers and tellers" were examined and adopted at the preparatory meeting. According to the relevant provisions of the Trade Union Law and the articles of Association of the Chinese Trade Union, the preparatory group of the trade union read out the "request for instructions on the establishment of the Trade Union Committee of Jiangxi Construction Engineering City Construction Co., Ltd." and other documents, the approval documents of the group trade union and the basic information of candidates for members of the third committee. By secret ballot, members, chairman and vice-chairman of the first trade union committee of Jiangxi Construction Engineering Urban Construction Co., Ltd., members and directors of the funds examination committee, and members and directors of the women workers' committee were elected.
Afterwards, Comrade Li Changqiu made a statement as the elected chairman of the trade union. He said that he will strengthen in-depth study and understanding of trade union work, earnestly implement the spirit of higher-level trade unions, enhance the awareness of public servants, and serve the overall situation.
At the meeting, Comrade Xu Chapi, vice chairman of the trade union of the group company, expressed warm congratulations to the newly established urban construction trade union and the newly elected trade union cadres, and extended sincere greetings and high respect to the hard-working urban construction workers! While fully affirming the preparatory work of the urban construction trade union, he also put forward the following three hopes and requirements for the urban construction trade union in the next work tasks: first, to be firm in politics. Persist in listening to and following the party, and under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, maintain a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee in ideology, politics and action. The second is to highlight the advanced nature. It is necessary to closely focus on improving the core competitiveness of enterprises, innovation capabilities, and the quality and efficiency of enterprise development as the guiding spirit, unite the majority of employees and cadres, promote the steady development of enterprises, and create a new situation. The third is to strengthen the mass. Xu Jingang, secretary of the party branch, chairman and general manager of the company, delivered a closing speech for the meeting. On May 27, 2026, Jiangxi Construction Engineering International convened the Second Session of its Second Congress of Employees (Members), thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the Group’s 2026 Work Conference, the First Session of the Fourth Congress of Employees, and the Second Session of the First Congress of Employees of the Domestic Engineering Company. The meeting comprehensively reviewed the company’s performance in 2025, analyzed the progress of key indicators for the first quarter of 2026, and outlined plans for the year’s major tasks.
